You know, I always have these great, clever things to say under this part, but then when it gets to be Wednesday night at 2am I have trouble just moving my fingers across the keyboard to type, much less remembering something witty and urbane I had all set to go for the commentary o_O

Actually, that brings up a good point. You may have noticed that the top of the page says "Updated Wednesdays," and you may have also noticed if you've been checking in with any regularity that that is a damn, damn, dirty lie. So if the updates actually happen early Thursday morning why don't I just put "Updated Thursdays," you may ask? Well, that's because that notice up there is more for me than you. I set it down as "Updated Wednesdays" so that I would actually have a set time to have the next strip due by, and if I put "Thursdays" then I wouldn't start working on it until Thursday evening instead of Wednesday evening, and then the new strip technically wouldn't be up until Friday.

So then, you may also ask, and by now I'd have to say you're getting just a little bit nosy there, mister, why on earth don't I just start working on the strip on Tuesday evenings instead of Wednesday evenings?

Because...ummm...shut up.

Also, for the uninitiated into Japanese Animation ("anime") the show being parodied here is called InuYasha, with myself being dressed like Kagome and the Peek being dressed like Shippo. The "Shikon no Tama" is a magical object, originally a glass ball on a chain that later gets shattered into shards, that everyone in the whole show runs around the entire time trying to possess. It's a great little show created by Rumiko Takahashi of Ranma 1/2 fame (and yes, that really is my best attempt at drawing a Rumiko Takahashi standard female hairstyle ^^;) look for it when it gets released outside of Japan early next year :)
